Privacy policy

ManaLadder is a platform for Magic clubs' tournaments. This page describes what information we process, why, and what rights you have.

What information we process

• Account: email address, display name and an encrypted password — or your Google, Facebook or Discord sign-in, if you use one of them. We never see your password with them.
• Player profile: the fields you choose to fill in — e.g. city, region, country, Discord, website and game names. Address and phone number are private and shown only to you and the administrators of your clubs.
• Tournament data: registrations, pairings, results, standings and rating. This is the very purpose of the platform, and results are kept as history.
• Photos: photos of decks and photos from the nights, uploaded by you or the organizer.

What we use it for

The information is used to run tournaments, show pairings, results and rating, and to let you sign in. We do not sell your information, and we show no ads.

Who can see what

A club tournament is visible only to the club's members. A public event — and your name and results in it — is visible to everyone. The club's administrators can see the information that belongs to the club's nights.

Where it is stored

All data is stored with our hosting provider in the EU. Photos live in a closed store and are served through the platform under the same visibility rules as everything else.

Cookies and local storage

We use no tracking or advertising cookies. The browser's local storage is used only for your sign-in and your language choice.

Your rights

You can always view and correct your own information on your profile. You can request access to, correction of or deletion of your information by contacting us — we will reply as soon as possible. Results from played tournaments may however remain in anonymized form, because they are also the other players' history.
